Surface heat: Artificial turf holds more heat than natural grass, so it can feel warm to the touch. Some types of infill can also raise the surface temperature.
Artificial grass does not flame up, but it can melt if something such as a hot charcoal falls on it or under intense reflected sunlight from a window. However, fake grass can be repaired.

Odor build up: Like natural grass, if you don’t clean up messes on artificial turf, they will fester. Certain types of infill are prone to holding odors, too.

Surface heat: Turf is considerably cooler than most other common surfaces.
Environment: Turf is overall more beneficial for the environment

Maintenance: You will need to dedicate more time to your lawn especially in the summer. weeding, watering and mowing are some jobs you will need to partake in to keep your grass pristine.
High Traffic: This means after a lot of use of a particular area your grass may need extra care.

Choosing The Best Artificial Grass For You.

If you decide that Artificial Grass is for you then theirs a few more things you might need to consider.

Function:

For Pets and Children: we recommend a shorter to medium pile height. The shorter the pile the more it will help with cleaning and upholding hygiene. With short to medium pile heights it will also withstand hours of garden activities and keep the natural look.

For A Beautiful Finish: we would recommend a medium to long pile height.

Aesthetic:

The look of your Artificial Grass is just as important but to some can be more important then the function, things you need to consider:

Pile Height: Artificial grass comes in a variety of pile heights, depending on it’s intended use. Longer grasses, around 30mm mark, will give a lush, luxurious look, whereas shorter, 16-27mm grass will look neater, and is more suitable for kids or pets.

Colour: Artificial Grass comes in lots of different shades and colour's you need to decide if a light or dark colour will suit your garden better.
